A LITTLE HISTORY ON THE TWO DAVIDS
David A. Carter has been in the
tool and die business for the past 47 years. He has held positions from tool and die maker to product developer.
He started Precision Metal Tooling, Inc.™ in 1983. He has assembled some of the most talented tool and die makers as a part of his design team.
His son, David C. Carter joined the company in 2019. He has both, a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from U.C. California, Davis. He has worked in Research and Development in Japan for one of the largest tool manufacturer before joining us. He brings in a renewed view towards tool making with new innovation and manufacturing ideas to the company.
